under 在 . . . .下 面 ， 指 在 物 体 的 垂 直 下 方 。

 介 词 短 语 是 表 示 的 方 位 也 就 是 地 点 ， 所 以 经 常 可 以 用 “where ” 来 提 问 。

 那 个 苹 果 在 哪 儿 ？它 在 书 桌 上 。    Where is the apple ? It's on the desk .

   物 品 / 某 人 +be + 介 词 短 语 ” ，千 万 不 能 少 了 动 词 “be ” ， 否 则 不 是 一 个 句 子 。
